Terms of Use for BeeJoy on Apple Platforms

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Thank you for choosing BeeJoy. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Apple App Store version of BeeJoy and its related features, purchases, subscriptions, and services (collectively, the “Service”) on supported versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS. These Terms do not govern BeeJoy versions distributed through other platforms.

By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, subscribing to, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Please read these Terms carefully. They contain important information about software licensing, paid features, subscriptions, acceptable use, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution.

BeeJoy is provided by the application provider identified on its App Store listing, not by Apple. Your use of Apple's store and account services is also subject to the applicable Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

2. Eligibility and Acceptance

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use paid features of the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.

3. Software License

Unless a separate custom license is provided through the App Store, the Application is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms supplement the applicable license for BeeJoy's features and services; this page is not a replacement custom EULA. If there is a conflict concerning the Application's software license, the applicable EULA controls.

You may use the Application on compatible Apple devices as permitted by the applicable EULA and Apple's Usage Rules. These Terms do not restrict uses expressly permitted by those rules, including eligible Family Sharing or volume-purchase arrangements.

Except where applicable law, the applicable EULA, or a third-party software license permits otherwise, you may not:

4. Media, Files, and Third-Party Sources

BeeJoy is a media player and media-management tool. Unless expressly stated otherwise, BeeJoy does not provide, host, sell, or license the movies, television programs, music, subtitles, streams, files, or other media that you choose to access through the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to access, play, download, transmit, organize, or otherwise use any media or data that you provide to or access through BeeJoy. You must not use BeeJoy to infringe copyright, bypass lawful access restrictions, gain unauthorized access to third-party systems, or engage in any other unlawful activity.

BeeJoy may support connections to local storage, network shares, servers, cloud storage providers, media servers, subtitle providers, metadata services, or other third-party services. Those services are operated independently and may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, availability, technical limits, and fees. BeeJoy is not responsible for the availability, content, security, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

5. Accounts and Platform Services

Core media playback does not require creating a BeeJoy account. App Store purchases and restoration depend on your Apple Account, iCloud synchronization depends on your iCloud configuration, and connected media servers or cloud providers may require their own accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity occurring through accounts under your control.

If a third-party or platform account used with BeeJoy is suspended, terminated, changed, or becomes unavailable, related BeeJoy functionality may also become unavailable. BeeJoy is not responsible for actions taken by third-party account providers.

6. Premium Features, Purchases, and Subscriptions

Where offered in the Apple version, Premium features may be available through recurring subscriptions, one-time or lifetime purchases, promotional offers, or free trials using Apple's in-app purchase system. Available products, billing periods, prices, currencies, included features, and eligibility are shown in the Application before purchase and may vary by country or region, device, and time. This section applies only to products actually offered.

Apple handles payment using the payment method associated with your Apple Account. Paid purchases are charged when confirmed, subject to any trial or offer shown in Apple's purchase flow.

6.1 Subscriptions

Auto-renewable subscriptions continue until cancelled. Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before the next subscription period starts. To avoid renewal, cancel before that renewal window; for a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The duration, renewal price, included features, and trial or introductory conditions are disclosed before purchase.

Manage or cancel through your Apple Account's subscription settings; see Apple's cancellation instructions. Cancelling stops future renewals and generally leaves access until the displayed expiration date, subject to Apple's rules and applicable law. Uninstalling BeeJoy or contacting BeeJoy support does not itself cancel a subscription.

6.2 Lifetime Purchases

A product described as “Lifetime” is a non-expiring entitlement to the BeeJoy Premium features associated with that product, subject to these Terms, continued availability of the BeeJoy Service, supported platforms and devices, and dependencies on third-party technologies or services. “Lifetime” does not guarantee that every feature, third-party integration, platform, or external service will remain available indefinitely.

6.3 Pricing and Taxes

Prices may change. Apple handles subscription price-change notices, any required consent, and applicable taxes under its rules and applicable law. The price presented in Apple's purchase confirmation controls.

6.4 Refunds

For purchases billed by Apple, request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem service. Apple determines eligibility under its refund policies and applicable law; see Apple's refund instructions. BeeJoy cannot approve or guarantee an Apple-issued refund. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

6.5 Restoring Purchases

Where purchases are offered, use the Application's Restore Purchases option with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Restoration depends on Apple verifying an eligible entitlement and the product being supported by that Apple version. Expired, refunded, or revoked entitlements do not grant access. Family Sharing is available only for eligible products where enabled. Purchases on other distribution platforms are not automatically transferable to the Apple version unless BeeJoy expressly provides that capability.

6.6 Apple and BeeJoy Responsibilities

BeeJoy handles support for the Application; Apple handles App Store billing and account matters. Maintenance, warranty, and other responsibilities relating to the software license are governed by the applicable EULA and mandatory law. Contact BeeJoy using the email below for application support.

7. Changes to Features and Availability

We may update, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. This may be necessary for security, compatibility, legal compliance, platform requirements, licensing restrictions, third-party service changes, maintenance, or product development.

We do not guarantee that every feature, media format, codec, network protocol, external service, device, operating-system version, or third-party integration will remain compatible or available at all times.

8. Service Interruptions

The Service may occasionally be unavailable or degraded due to maintenance, software or hardware failures, network outages, third-party service interruptions, changes imposed by platform providers, security incidents, or events beyond our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Service, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

9. Intellectual Property

The Application, BeeJoy name and branding, user interface, software code, graphics, documentation, and other materials provided by BeeJoy are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no ownership right or additional license is transferred to you.

Third-party trademarks, logos, software components, libraries, media, metadata, and other content remain the property of their respective owners and may be governed by separate licenses or terms.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to the BeeJoy Privacy Policy, which describes how information may be collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected.

You can review the Privacy Policy for BeeJoy on Apple Platforms.

11. User Responsibility and Prohibited Conduct

You are responsible for your use of BeeJoy and for complying with applicable laws. You agree not to use the Service to:

12. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to some or all of the Service where reasonably necessary to address a material violation of these Terms, fraud, security risks, abuse, unlawful activity, platform requirements, or legal obligations.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Removing the Application does not automatically cancel an active subscription; Apple-billed subscriptions must be cancelled through your Apple Account's subscription settings.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. BeeJoy does not warrant that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device or media file, or continuously available.

Playback quality and functionality may depend on your device hardware, operating system, codecs, network conditions, media files, external servers, third-party providers, and other factors outside BeeJoy's control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BeeJoy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, media, revenue, profits, business opportunity, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

BeeJoy is not responsible for loss or damage caused by third-party services, user-provided servers, network storage, cloud providers, media sources, account providers, app stores, device manufacturers, operating systems, or other systems not controlled by BeeJoy.

Any limitation in this section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not limit liability that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your infringement of third-party rights, or your material breach of these Terms.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This section applies to these supplementary BeeJoy service Terms only. It does not replace the governing-law or dispute provisions of the applicable EULA or your agreements with Apple.

Unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If a dispute arises, you and BeeJoy should first attempt to resolve it through good-faith communication. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be submitted to a court with competent jurisdiction in the place where the BeeJoy service provider is domiciled, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, business practices, platform requirements, or applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page and may provide additional notice when required.

You should review these Terms periodically. If you do not agree with revised Terms, you should stop using the Service. Your continued use after the revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

18. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.

A failure by BeeJoy to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
